Give It All To God
As Peter gave Jesus his boat, we should be willing to give God anything He wants. It will bring multitudes of blessings. Just as He did for Peter and the great catch. Simon Peter wanted to tell Jesus that he had already been out in the waters and there was no catch for the day. Peter had to allow Jesus to be in control. This is the way we are today wanting to do things our way. We need to learn to listed to God and follow His spirit instead of always doing things our way. God will not always do things our way. He wants our obedience to Him. We have to learn to give ourselves to God to receive His blessings.
Mark 2:1 Jesus preached the Word. The people began bringing sick people to Him to be healed. God wants us blessed and living on His side. God does not expect us to be perfect. He wants us to be faithful. God will never ask us to do anything that He did not equip us to do.
Hebrews 4:1 When we hear God’s word we have to add our faith to it. Hearing His Word is not enough. We must have faith in His Word.
