Never Look Back
Focus God’s vision into your life. We thank you Lord that you are our God and we will follow you all of our days! We will never look back.
God is a wonderful God. Follow Him. Jesus is the head of the church and we desire to follow Him. God’s promises give us direction. They give us vision. Open your heart and yield to the direction God is leading you. Never look back.
Do Not Look Back
God will lead us down the path that He has laid out for us. Do not look back. Keep your eyes looking forward to where God is taking you. We were made in God’s image and in His likeness. He made us. When we get the Word of God inside of us it causes things to function in our lives. God’s favor over us protects us and keeps us from harm. Don’t look back lest you run into something because you’re looking in the wrong direction.
The past is the past. You have been delivered from past sins. Don’t let the enemy bring up what has already been forgiven. Do not fall for the tricks of the enemy. Live beyond your past and look to your future. The promises of God are bright! Do not look back.
We have to have a vision, a revelation, of what God wants for us. Focus on the Word of God. Ask God to reveal His Word to you. Happy is he who keeps the law. God’s promises give us vision. Follow God and ensure that you are able to say that you fulfilled the vision that God has for you.
Indecision and Division Leads to Collision
Even though you’ve had a past; you may have had collisions, you have a great future based on the promises of God. Don’t waste a day remembering yesterday. There’s no use looking back unless that’s the direction you want to go. There is a life beyond your past.
We have to decide who God is. God is the almighty creator. He is our everything. Be decisive in who God is. Jesus Christ is the son of God. He came into this world to shed His blood that wee should not perish. All sin has been forgiven. All sin.
Do not get ahead of God. Follow God. Walk by faith and not by sight. God will lead you. We have His authority. Be decisive in who God is. Too many people are just coasting through life. Remember, when you’re coasting you’re heading downhill.
When the country is in chaos everybody has a plan to fix it. A leader must have real understanding. Support the leadership that God has put in place. Everybody can’t lead. There has to be a clear direction. Stand against division and join us. Follow Gods leaders as they follow Jesus.
Don’t go backwards. Go through the problem and come out of them victorious. Speak to the mountain and command it to change! Don’t be afraid. How can we be afraid knowing all the things that God has done for us? Stand firm in God and see the salvation He has for you today.
In Psalms 19:1 we read that “The heavens declare the Glory of God!” Look around you today and see God’s glory.
You Are No Longer A Person of the Past
The enemy knows that if he can keep us looking at our past he can keep us living in excuses and fear and keep us from moving forward in God. He can keep us from being the successes that God made us to be. To get beyond your past you have to realize that God has changed your identity. You are no longer a person of the past. You are a new person in God.
God is not looking for perfect people because no one is perfect. Forget the things that are behind and reaching for to the things that are ahead. Never look back.
In Philippians 3:13-14, Paul teaches us “one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.” reach forward. Seek the things that are ahead and never look back to the past.
Thanks God that our slate has been wiped clean. Keep pressing in. Make a decision. Choose you this day whom you will serve.
